How it started vs. How its going

Hello from the free state of Florida! Its been a long while since I put together a post. I sincerely hope this finds you all safe and well. Everyone invariably asks how its going and I thought a quick update is in order. What a tough year, we were shut down for quite a while and I slowly brought the shop back on line in keeping with the Governors guidance. My customers have been amazing throughout this epidemic and I want to acknowledge and thank every one of them (except for one impatient arsehole-name to be remembered for posterity- but withheld here, there’s always gonna be one, right?) for their patronage, their patience, and their overall newfound love of the game of golf. There has only been one other time in history when more rounds of golf were played, thats when Tiger Woods first won the US Open!

Here comes the bad part, with the increased number of rounds and golfers coming back to the sport we are experiencing high demand coupled with pandemic issues that seem to be compounding as we recover. Lead times are simply longer than I have ever seen them and we have shortages in the supply chain that affect every manufacturer. If you are considering a new set or updating any component of your existing set, I urge you to come in and get fit as soon as possible. This way we get ahead of the golfers up north, as they come out of hibernation. I can drop ship anywhere in the U.S.. Please don’t wait till the last minute this year. I am aware of where most of the manufacturers are with delays and backordered products, so when we do the fitting, please let me know what your level of urgency is. That way you will have the clubs we select for use this summer.

In order to spread out my offerings, I realigned myself with TAYLORMADE golf at the beginning of the year. Its going very well and they offer a line of products that really fills in any gaps for game improvement products that we had in the past. The TAYLORMADE SIM2 driver is worthy of consideration, give it a try. Of course, as always, we still are big supporters of PING and CALLAWAY and both of those companies have really rose to the challenges that the pandemic and the rise of golf have presented to us.

So in conclusion, we will all get through this, as long as we

TEE IT HIGH, AND LET IT FLY!
